The 156th Street project in Edmonton is recruiting:
Responsibilities:

Be able to comprehend blueprint readings and prepare layouts
-
Understand industrial concrete forming, be able to build concrete forms, and other structures
-
Look for, and fix deficiencies
-
Checks accuracy of work, and makes adjustments as required
-
Studies blueprints for work planning
-
Constructs and forms chutes for pouring concrete
-
Erects scaffolding, and ladders for assembling structures above ground level
-
Informs immediate supervisor of abnormalities or defects and/or takes appropriate measures
Requirements:

Preference will be given to a Journeyman Carpenter Ticket from a recognized provincial training authority or be a Registered Carpenter Apprentice

Non-ticketed carpenters must provide proof of hours relevant to the industrial Carpentry trade

Fall Protection and Confined Space is an asset

Ability to coach, mentor and train apprentices

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Describe and point out safety compliance and regulatory issues
